Visit Our Centre

Packed with innovative ideas to inspire best practice in EYFS & KS1, the learning environments at our National Centre are a vital destination for practitioners across the country.

Our unique and specialist centre is located in the North of England, Huddersfield and open to visit free of charge throughout the year. You are welcome to call in if you are nearby, or if you are travelling quite a distance its best to phone ahead to make arrangements.

You will find a highly informative interactive environment to look around with ideas for your classroom, lots of display ideas and an exhibition of children’s work to inspire you – and an amazing Resource Shop with high quality, books, play resources and educational artefacts to buy. We also have plenty of space to relax, meet or work in the cafe with light refreshments available throughout the day.

We are now open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and have Learning Walks available offering a guided tour of our Interactive Environment. These highly informative tours enable practitioners to see examples of high-quality continuous provision and have the opportunity to talk about how resources can be used to support high-quality learning. A fantastic opportunity to gain practical advice and support from our experienced consultants to help you to further develop your own enabling environment in both the EYFS and KS1!

It is free to visit our National Centre but to keep everybody safe, we do ask that you contact the team to book your time to visit or learning walk.
